A (3) THREE-DAY TRAINING ON BAR SOAP, LIQUID SOAP AND BLEACH AT THE DISTRICT ASSEMBLE HALL

A three day program organized in the Fanteakwa South District Assembly. The program was to train the people on Bar soap, liquid soap and bleach. The project was focused on the various communities within the district. Representatives from selected communities in the district namely Osino,Nsutem,Hemang,Dwenase ,Juaso and Abompe. 

The Project was executed under the Local Economic Development (LED) amid at empowering the inhabitants to acquire a skill in order to make themselves sufficient. 

Day 1

On the first day of training which was on 5th July,2023 the program started at 9;00am with a welcome address by the district Chief Executive in the person of Hon. Ernest Ofosu. He encouraged participants to take the training serious to help acquire the needed skills and the assembly will also do well to provide the needed support. A total of twenty-two (22) participants from the various communities and Eight (8) staff from the district in attendant making a total of Thirty (30) participants. The trainer in the person Madam Atta started the program by explaining some terms and also naming and listing the materials and equipment for the training. She encouraged everyone to fully participate so that it will help them remember after the end of the training.

DAY 2

 The Second day of the training, which was 6th July,2023 started with a prayer by Madam Atta. There was an increase in the number of participants from the various communities. The total number of participants from the communities were twenty-Eight (28) and Four (4) staff from the district, in total there were Thirty two (32) participants on the second day of the soap training. 

Madam Atta and Participants continued the soap Making that is Bar Soap and Liquid Soap process. At the end of the Second day the bar soap was cut and ready. The process for the liquid soap and bleach was started and was left to continue on the next day of the training. All Participants contributed to the soap making process and were able to acquire the skill for the second day. 

DAY 3

On the last day of the training the participants continued with the liquid soap and were bottled in containers to make it representable. They continued with the bleach process which was also bottled in a container.  after All work was done participants presented the Barsoap, Liquid soap and Bleach to Mr. Francis Adu Gyamfi .

At the program, pictures were taking and participants were encouraged to form groups to help them work together. 

The team from social welfare also advised participants on the need to take advantage of the program so to better their lives by creating jobs for themselves.
