Some inhabitants of Osino, the capital town of Fanteakwa South District Assembly on Thursday 16th February,2023 in a jubilant manner gathered on the principle streets of Osino-Bosuso to express their gratitude to President Nana Akufo-Addo and the Member of Parliament for the Fanteakwa South constituency Hon Kofi Okyere Agyekum for fulfilling by their promise to them.
According to the constituents, their routine predicament of dusty items being sold along the bangs of the street, chronic headache and flu, unwillingness of some customers to patronize their items/goods as a result of the dirt, high cost of transport due to the terrible nature of the road will now be a thing of the past.
Opanyin Frimpong kwakye an 87 year old retired civil servant who has lived in Osino since 1960 in a brief history recounted that, the Osino Bosuso road was constructed in 1972 when Dr Jones Ofori Atta was then the Member of Parliament for Abuakwa constituency.
Opanyin Kwakye also mentioned that, the road has not seen any rehabilitation afterwards. He however urged the Akuffo-Addo administration to continue executing their noble policies for the benefit of Ghanaians.
The Osino-Bosuso road was constructed by Kasa-Djan construction and fully funded by the Government of Ghana.
