On 13th February 2026, in commemoration of World Condom Day, the Fanteakwa South District Assembly organized a sensitization program on HIV prevention for drivers and traders at the Osino Lorry Park in the district.
The program aimed to educate participants on:
* HIV prevention and safe practices
•The importance of condom use
•Regular HIV testing and counseling
During the event, condoms and other educational materials were distributed to participants to promote safe and responsible practices.
The Assembly remains committed to promoting public health awareness and reducing the spread of HIV within the district.
