As part of measures to improve upon the infrastructural facilities in all sectors of the District Assembly, The Education Directorate on the 17th of August 2023 received 500 pieces of dual desks from the District Assembly as support to sustain the efforts and commitment of the directorate in the delivery of quality education in the district.
In a brief speech, The DCE of Fanteakwa South district Assembly urged the students to use the desks with care in order to serve many generations. He also tasked the District Education Directorate to put in place stringent measures to maintain these desks.
The District Director for Education Mr Richard Adane Akosah Addo expressed his utmost gratitude to the management of the District Assembly for their continuous contribution in enhancing teaching and learning through the provision of infrastructural facilities to schools in the district.
He was particularly grateful to The District Chief Director (Hon.Ernest Ofosu) and the District Coordinating Director (Mr. Nataniel Adzotor) for their dynamic and impactful leadership in the district. The dual desks will be distributed to some distressed schools in the district.
