CARE OF SOCIETY NETWORK INTERNATIONAL COMMEMORATES WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY IN FANTEAKWA SOUTH DISTRICT

Care of Society Network International joined the global community to commemorate World Mental Health Day on October 9, 2025, in the Fanteakwa South District under the theme “Mental Health is a Universal Human Right.”

The event aimed to raise awareness about mental health issues, promote emotional well-being, and encourage community members to support one another in addressing mental health challenges.

During the program, health professionals and facilitators from Care of Society Network International engaged participants in discussions on stress management, early signs of mental illness, and the importance of seeking help. The team also encouraged community members to break the stigma surrounding mental health and treat those affected with compassion and understanding.

The District Health Directorate, Assembly representatives, youth groups, and community members took part in the event, demonstrating strong collaboration and shared commitment to improving mental health in the district.

Care of Society Network International reaffirmed its dedication to supporting mental health advocacy and education, ensuring that every individual in the Fanteakwa South District has access to care, support, and respect for their mental well-being.
