Hon. Ofosu Ernest(DCE) and the Mr. Albert Mensah (DCD) on the 19th March 2021 inaugurated and donated roofing sheets to NADMO to help in the completion of a building project in the Fanteakwa South District.

On 11th March 2024 , the District Environment health 0fficer(DEHO) together with the scrap dealers Association for Fanteakwa South District Assembly elected the leaders of the Association.The DEHO encouraged members and the newly elected executives to comply with the health and safety measures in other to have a healthy environment

The Fanteakwa South District Headquarters and its environs had been severely hit by a rainstorm on Thursday, 29th of February 2024 between 5.30 to 6.30 pm, rendering so many people homeless.
