Structure

The Fanteakwa South District Assembly is the highest political, administrative, and developmental authority in the district. Its structure ensures local governance, community participation, and effective implementation of development projects.

  1. District Chief Executive (DCE)

    • The political and administrative head of the district.

    • Appointed by the President and approved by the Assembly.

    • Responsible for implementing government policies and coordinating the work of the Assembly in Fanteakwa South.

  2. Presiding Member

    • Elected by Assembly Members.

    • Chairs Assembly meetings and ensures smooth deliberations on district matters.

  3. Assembly Members

    • Comprise elected representatives from electoral areas, government appointees, and Members of Parliament representing Fanteakwa South.

    • Tasked with decision-making, passing by-laws, and supervising development initiatives.

  4. Standing Committees

    • Specialized committees handle key areas, including:

  5. Central Administration
