The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) in Fanteakwa South District recently engaged the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) to promote constitutional awareness. This initiative was part of the ongoing Constitution Week celebration, aiming to educate key stakeholders on the importance of Ghana’s 1992 Constitution.

During the engagement, Mr. Kwadwo Adu-Asare, the District Director of NCCE, emphasized the need for transport operators to adhere to constitutional principles in their daily activities. He highlighted the constitution as the supreme law that protects citizens and guides their actions.

By involving transport operators, the NCCE hopes to foster a more informed and responsible citizenry that understands their rights and responsibilities under the constitution. This effort contributes to good governance, rule of law, and respect for human rights.
