Fanteakwa South District Assembly Opens 2026 with Renewed Energy in the Assembly 1st Management meeting.

On Wednesday, 7th January 2026, the Assembly Hall of the Fanteakwa South District Assembly filled with purpose as heads of department gathered for the first management meeting of the year. It was a moment of reflection on the past year’s achievements and a bold step into the future.

Heads of department were tasked to submit all necessary documents to the Planning Officers, who would guide them in producing timely reports and indicators. This was deemed critical, as the assessment would be conducted online, requiring real-time submissions within strict time windows.

The meeting also carried a human touch. Officers expressed heartfelt gratitude for the Christmas package received during the festive season. For many, it was the first time in years that staff had gone home with something tangible to show for their sacrifices. The sensitive issue of fines for offences was raised, with caution urged to avoid political implications while ensuring compliance.
