The Fanteakwa South District Assembly has held a town hall meeting to engage residents on ongoing development projects and future plans for the district. The meeting brought together community leaders, assembly members, NGO’s and residents to discuss key issues such as education, sanitation, road infrastructure, and youth employment.
During the meeting, each department presented updates on completed and ongoing projects, including improvements in road networks, community infrastructure, and educational facilities. The NGOs also shared their contributions in areas such as health, youth empowerment, and environmental sustainability.
Discussions centered on how to make Fanteakwa South a well-developed and sustainable district through effective planning, community participation, and stronger partnerships between government and development partners. Participants were given the opportunity to ask questions and share suggestions aimed at improving service delivery in the district.
District Chief Executive Mercy Korang commended all stakeholders for their efforts and called for continued collaboration to ensure that every community benefits from the Assembly’s development agenda.
